Connected Restaurants

There are 15 restaurants and bars connected by way of the indoor Skywalk. They include Blue Plate Café (Courtyard by Marriott), Ferris' Riverfront Cafe, six.one.six, Mixology (JW Marriott); Z’s, The Skywalk Deli; Bentham’s, Cornucopia, Garden Court Lounge, Cygnus 27, Starbucks, Lumber Baron Bar, The 1913 Room, GP Sports (all located in the Amway Grand Plaza) and Margarita Grill.

Restaurants within a short walk

There are several dozen restaurants within a five minute walk of Plaza Towers. Directly across the street is the B.O.B (that stands for Big Old Building) that houses five different restaurants, a comedy club and one of the hottest night spots in town. Also directly across Monroe is TGI Fridays. A block south is Charlie’s Crab, an elegant seafood restaurant overlooking the Grand River. Also nearby is Bistro Bella Vita, one of the cities finest Italian style bistros. Within a 5 minute walk are several dozen fine restaurants, including fine dining, steakhouses, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, burger joints, pizza and many others. Some are chains, but most are locally owned.

Shopping

Downtown Grand Rapids features a growing retail shopping community. Within a short walk there are stores that feature men’s and women’s clothing, luggage, fine jewelry, cards and gifts, shoes, etc. There are also several outstanding art galleries.
